Each Snuggle Puppy comes with one heat pack, which can be activated by removing it from the snuggle puppy and shaking it until the contents are well mixed. Replace the heat pack and the heart into the toy's pouch. It takes approximately half an hour for the heat source to reach the optimal temperature. When it cools down, the heat pack becomes hard and can be thrown away. Because the heat pack is made from natural ingredients, it is not harmful to the environment.

If you are not going to use the heat pack for 24 consecutive hours, it can be stored in a zip loc bag. Make sure the bag is airtight and properly sealed. The heating process will stop as a result of this and can then be reused at a later time. The heat packs are available in packs of three.
